Her story

Maggie’s journey into education began with her own experience of learning differently. Growing up in an English-as-an-additional-language family with French-speaking parents, and navigating school as a dyslexic learner, she understood how easily a capable child can feel overlooked when teaching does not meet them where they are.

Rather than allowing those challenges to define what was possible, Maggie turned them into purpose. She built a career in education, specialising in Computer Science and Mathematics, and has supported pupils from Year 7 to A-Level through curriculum design, digital learning and teaching adapted for different needs. Each learner she has taught has strengthened her belief that confidence often grows when someone takes the time to explain things in the right way.

Bright Minds Tutoring Hub grew from that belief. Maggie founded it to help families across Zambia and beyond find personalised, safeguarding-first support for Grade 7, Grade 9, Grade 12, GCE and Cambridge pathways. Her hope is that every learner feels seen, every parent feels supported and every teacher has the opportunity to make a lasting difference—because education can change far more than an exam result; it can change what a young person believes is possible.
